Writing is not the same as speaking. When we write, our grammatical mistakes stand out like a sore thumb. The result is an unprofessional looking report that is difficult to understand and probably boring to read.
I have been an editor for many Thai companies for more than 10 years here in Bangkok. I have seen the economic collapse of 1997 lead to changes in the business structure of companies and in the investment climate in Thailand, with company closures and mergers with foreign strategic partners.

Boards of directors of many Thai companies now have foreign members who require to read minutes of their meetings in understandable English. The Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and executives of listed companies require reports in English. Job applications require a high level of expertise in written and spoken English.

My experience editing a wide range of subjects can help you with the following:

Stock Market Reports - Securities Research - Investment Banking Reports - Financial Reports - Economic Reports - Board Minutes - Correspondence - General Business Reports - Copywriting - Website Editing - Writing and Conversation Courses, and more.

These are some of the companies

THE NATION

Writing in English is much different than writing in Thai -- it's another world. I can read Thai and often work with Thai staff who are assigned to translate such topics as regulations of the SET and SEC, and legal contracts from Thai to English. I see so many vague and ambiguous sentences. The problem is that the Thai language has no plural form, no tenses, no personal pronouns to designate sex, nor the concept of constructing a logical sequence of thought.

One vital factor to remember when writing in English is to be sure to provide: "who, what, where, when, why and how". Also, be sure to be specific, i.e., is it "shareholder" or "shareholders"? If an event happened already, explain when it occurred. If something will happen in the future, tell when it will occur.
